Now that which, as representation, can be antecedent to any and every act of thinking anything, is intuition; and if it contains nothing but relations, it is the form of intuition. Since this form does not represent anything save in so far as something is posited in the mind, it [time] can be nothing but the mode in which the mind is affected through its own activity (namely, through this positing of its＊representation), and so is affected by itself; in other words, it is nothing but an inner sense in respect of the form of that sense.

海德格尔在《康德书》中讲 self-affection 时引述上文并在注释中批评Kehrbach之校订为多此一举：

266. Ibid. The proposed change of the phrase "their representation" into "its representation" (des "ihrer Vorstellung" in "seiner")removes precisely what is essential in the text. The "their" is not [intended] to express that the representation is a representation of the mind, but rather that the representing, posited by the mind, re-presents the "pure relations" of the succession of the sequence of nows as such and allows them to come up to the taking-in-stride.

问：
its/seiner 这个代词指 the mind，但不校改的话， their/ihrer 所指为何？

若依海氏之批评，不如简单地将 Vorstellung 解读为 Vorstellen 便可？

K兄你上面引用的海德格尔266中不是已经提到，ihrer就是指 Verhältnisse?

按照海的理解，结合康德原文，那么表象就是包含关系的直观，心灵置于自身的是关于关系的表象（ps, 真不喜欢表象这个中文翻译）。这样的话，把 Vorstellung 解读为 vorstellen 就不妥当了。

跑题一下：我的阅读经验告诉我，德文的词汇词源上相对丰富、构词上相对灵活，用法也比较严谨，这样可以同同一族单词表达相近却略有区分的描述，如Vorstellung和Präsentation，Wirklichkeit, Actualität和Gegenwärtigkeit, 但在英文和中文里却只有一个或几个容易混淆的单词对应（还不算上不同的词性）。

但似乎除了构造新的译名又没有特别好的办法；另外，重新定制译名代价也不轻，毕竟“表象”这个翻译纵然有千般不贴切却也成为翻译上的约定俗称。

不知T大有没有建议可供讨论？

没啥可行的建议。以前翻译某书的时候还为这个词与别人起过争议，最后还是不了了之。不过不管书面上怎么翻译，在我自己脑子里它就是与“想象、设想”挂钩的一个词。

题记一句，补刀和吐槽什么的最有爱了。如果我的理解不对，请行家指正。我没好好看英文，所以就自己翻德文原文，翻完之后看的[FONT=&quot]T[/FONT]的回答和[FONT=&quot]K[/FONT]的问题。

康德原文[FONT=&quot] B68 §8 [/FONT]，我的是[FONT=&quot]Meiner[/FONT]版[FONT=&quot]123[/FONT]页

[FONT=&quot]Nun ist das, was, als Vorstellung, vor aller Handlung, irgend etwas zu denken, vorhergehen kann, die Anschauung, und, wenn sie nichts als Verhältnisse enthält, die Form der Anschauung,welche, da sie nichts vorstellt, außer so fern etwas im Gemüte gesetzt wird, nichts anders sein kann, als die Art, wie das Gemüt durch eigene Tätigkeit, nämlich dieses[/FONT] [FONT=&quot]Setzen seiner/[/FONT]（[FONT=&quot]oder ihrer[/FONT]）[FONT=&quot]Vorstellung, mithin durch sich selbst affiziert wird, d.i. ein innerer Sinn seiner Form nach.[/FONT]

先扒了从句看主句，
[FONT=&quot]Das[/FONT]是主句，领[FONT=&quot] was[/FONT]从句，断到[FONT=&quot]vorhergehen kann[/FONT]，后面[FONT=&quot] die Anschauung und die Form der Anschauung, nichts anders als die Art, wie... [/FONT]，[FONT=&quot]wie[/FONT]从句断到[FONT=&quot]affiziert wird, naemlich[/FONT]是补充[FONT=&quot]Taetigkeit[/FONT]的内容。
从句法上来看，[FONT=&quot]Vorstellung setzen[/FONT]其实就是[FONT=&quot]vorstellen[/FONT]的意思，所以我个人觉得[FONT=&quot]seiner[/FONT]或者[FONT=&quot]ihrer[/FONT]就是关涉到[FONT=&quot]Vorstellung[/FONT]的对象问题，[FONT=&quot]sein[/FONT]指代阳[FONT=&quot]/[/FONT]中性，[FONT=&quot]ihre[/FONT]指代阴性，这个区别就决定了到底是指哪个词。[FONT=&quot]Verhaeltnisse[/FONT]是复数阴性，[FONT=&quot]sein[/FONT]的话我还只找到[FONT=&quot]etwas[/FONT]（[FONT=&quot]im Gemuet[/FONT]），有点不通。
当然还有一种理解是[FONT=&quot]seiner[/FONT]指的是[FONT=&quot]Gemuet[/FONT]，语义上也就是[FONT=&quot]Vorstellung[/FONT]从属于[FONT=&quot]Gemuet[/FONT]，感觉怪怪的，因为前文已经提了，再在从句中指一次有点啥。
关于[FONT=&quot]Anschauung T[/FONT]上面讲了，[FONT=&quot]welche[/FONT]后面[FONT=&quot]Gemuet[/FONT]部分其实是说明[FONT=&quot]Die Form der Anschauung[/FONT]的，也就是解释的关键所在。在我看来康德的意思是说形式就是内在的感官，是心灵通过[FONT=&quot]Vorstellung[/FONT]也就是通过自己（[FONT=&quot]durch sich selbst[/FONT]）被激发起来的方式。

再看海德格尔的原文[FONT=&quot]§ 34. Zeit als reine Selbstaffektion[/FONT] 全集版[FONT=&quot]191[/FONT]页，注释[FONT=&quot]286
Die vorgeschlagene Aenderung des ,,ihrer Vorstellung" in[/FONT] [FONT=&quot]"seiner'' nimmt dem Text gerade das Wesentliche. Das "ihrer" soll nicht ausdrücken,[/FONT] [FONT=&quot]daß die Vorstellung eine solche des Gemütes ist, sondern daß das im Gemüt gesetzte Vorstellen die ,,reinen Verhältnisse" des Nacheinander der Jetztfolge als solche vorstellt und auf das Hinnehmen zukommen läßt.[/FONT]

Ausdruecken[/FONT]的意思有表达，也有打印的意思，汗！这个地方我理解为表达，他的意思是说[FONT=&quot]Ihrer[/FONT]代替[FONT=&quot]Seiner[/FONT]很关键，它表达的不是[FONT=&quot]Vorstellung[/FONT]属于心灵的，也就是我上面提到的第二种理解，而是指纯粹关系（虽然他打了引号，[FONT=&quot]“reine”[/FONT]在康德原文哪儿我没看到）在心灵中的[FONT=&quot]vorstellen[/FONT]，这种关系就是他说的那种时间性的，[FONT=&quot]Jetztfolge[/FONT]的后续[FONT=&quot]balabala[/FONT]。
后面他后面[FONT=&quot]balabala[/FONT]一大堆说他对内感知即[FONT=&quot]Selbstaffektion[/FONT]的理解，我个人感觉有点那啥的地方就是他有点不按规矩出牌的解释套路，[FONT=&quot]Anschauung[/FONT]这种感性的东西在康德那里或者在康德学界的传统看法里就不是一个能反观自身或者[FONT=&quot]Autonomie[/FONT]的东西，要是的话感性从属理性的康德哲学结构就不存在了，不过理解康德的纷争又在这里。海的问题神经确实敏锐，在康德那里绝对接受性的感性有一个具有主动意义的形式，这个东西又不属于知性。

按照我的读解，是不是英文译错了，不是多此一举，而是海认为[FONT=&quot]ihrer[/FONT]代替seiner就是对的。

这个问题可能是我想多了。因为后来翻查了一下，海氏这个 「脚注评论」在《康德书》之前，已见于GA21Logik: Die Frage nach der Wahrheit(Logic: The Question of Truth)，德文版无ocr, 拿英译的来copy and paste:

p 281
§28. Time as original pure self-affection

The original printing of the B edition has the text as above: [the mind is affected by] “this positing of ihrer Vorstellung,” where Vorstellung[“presentation”] means Vorstellen[the mind’s act of presenting]. [340] But later editions emended the text to read “the positing of seiner Vorstellung,” a change that is completely unnecessary and robs the sentence of its rich meaning. We have to say (1) that the spontaneity of the self consists in the modes of its act of presenting; (2) that the pre-viewing that we have characterized—namely, time—belongs fundamentally to that spontaneity; and (3) consequently that, just as fundamentally, spontaneity qua self-affection is receptivity.

海氏把Vorstellung径直读成Vorstellen 就「恢复」了康德此句的丰富意义，直接了当，如此「搞定」。[FONT=新細明體] ([/FONT]够[FONT=新細明體]violent[/FONT]！我还傻瓜般去翻[FONT=新細明體]Sherover [/FONT]的解义[FONT=新細明體])[/FONT]

kurze Anmerkung
忘了说了，英文里出现的their和its的区分，只分辨到单复数，因为英文没有阳中阴三性，只能提示到这——到底指诸多关系还是心灵。

经 Klemme提醒，我查了下，科学院版是Seiner，不是Ihrer，他说这是后来把ihrer改成seiner的，因为ihrer读不通。我手头的哲 学丛书版是Timmermann，98年Bd505，海的是Raymund Schmidt (Meiners Philosophische Bibliothek) 1926。不过关于校改应该是一样的，
Kehrbach版是1877/78年，这个待查，到底是不是海德格尔出于个人义理的目的，有意在这个语文学细节上跟正统康德学者保持距离还是如何，暂时无法得出结论。不过很明显，如果不是Ihrer，按他的说法指关系的话，那时间的解释就带不进来。
如果是有意跟语文学的结论对着干，那会有比较“暴力”的地方。就好像说现在解释老子，改字读跟比方说帛书老子的意思南辕北辙，然后还要说我这个是更本初的理解。这个是暴力！没有转借和通假的地方我偏说它有。
至于Vorstellung和Vorstellen，我个人觉得Vorstellung setzen本身的意思就是动词vorstellen，这个解释倒并不很出格。
