But when we turn from Kant's initial analysis of pure aesthetic judgment to its subsequent elaboration, especially (but not only) in his account of fine art, Hegel's interpretation seems closer to the mark. For once he gets past his initial examples of flowers and foliage, Kant turns to paradigms of beauty which seem both inseparably and inevitably tied to, indeed embodiments of, key concepts or even ideas of reason.
