About the Author
Andrew Samuels is a Professional Member of the Society of Analytical Psychology, London. He is in private practice and teaches at several centres for analysis, psychotherapy and counselling. He is the editor of The Father: Contemporary Jungian Perspectives and the co-author of A Critical Dictionary of Jungian Analysis (RKP 1986).
He has written many papers on analytical psychology and was responsible for the section on it in the Yale Handbook of the History of Psychiatry and the relevant entries in the Glossary of the American Psychoanalytic Association.
