【英语】 向高人请教一个翻译问题

有人把第一句翻译为：“对我们而言，共产主义不是一种有待建立的事态，而是一个现实必须藉以调节自身的理想。”
请教高人，这里应该是一种转折关系吗？是“不是----，不是---”，还是“不是----，而是----”？

“共产主义对我们说来不是应当确立的[FONT=黑体]状况，不是现实应当与之相适应的[FONT=黑体]理想。我们所称为共产主义的是那种消灭现存状况的[FONT=黑体]现实的运动。这个运动的条件是由现有的前提产生的。”

无论从语法上，还是从语义上来说，都应该译作“不是。。。不是。。。”，而非转折关系。全集翻译的那个更接近本意。

我不是高人，但我想谈谈我的想法。an ideal与 state of affairs是同位关系，因此翻译的时候，把两个同位语翻译成两个并列句，因此应译为不是……不是……

应译为不是……不是…… 。因为，Communism is for us not a state of affairswhich is to be established, an idealto which reality [will] have to adjust itself. 是一个句子，not 一词涵盖到an ideal，即an ideal 之前省略了not 。
