This outstanding collection explores Wittgenstein's enduring place in twentieth century philosophy. Featuring essays by leading international scholars, the collection examines the interaction between Wittgenstein and Russell, Frege, the Vienna Circle and Logical Positivism and the nature of logical analysis, the identity theory of truth, logical relations and necessity and Wittgenstein's search for a phenomenological language. The second and third part of the collection explores Wittgenstein and mathematical intuitionism, constructivism, and semantic realism and Wittgenstein's later philosophy and writings on psychology and religion.
